Kaph & Team are an absolutely adorable couple!  I loved their sense of style and we found beautiful sunlight on the Stanford campus.  It was so nice to meet them both!

Unfortunately I won’t be shooting Tiffany and Rico’s wedding.  Instead I’ll be one of the bridesmaids!!!!  I’ve known Tiff for nearly 8 years – we met the day she interviewed at the company I had just started at.  We’ve been good friends ever since, and I can’t wait to be there with her on her wedding day!  Of course, that didn’t stop me from shooting some engagement photos.  Love you guys!

I had such a fabulous time getting to know Elizabeth and Nick, and I can’t wait to show you their wedding that happened just a few days ago!  Also – sooo sooo jealous of Elizabeth’s gorgeous red hair!!

I’ve known Bella and Todd for years and was delighted when they asked me to photograph their wedding!  We laughed the whole time.  Photos from the wedding come up soon!

Trac & Lotte will be married later this month, and I was so excited to meet them a few weeks ago for their engagement session!! She has just shocking blue eyes and he’s got such a reassuring, warm smile. They are so sweet together and I just can’t wait to be there for their beautiful wedding!

Before every engagement session, I ask my couples where they’d like to do their engagement session…and I encourage them to pick a place that suits their personality and where they feel comfortable. After a few days of thinking, Allison came back to me and said the place that they felt most comfortable and at home was…their home!

It turned out to be a great idea because the day of the session it rained like crazy! We would pop out for a few minutes of photos…then run back in and get dry and warm. Then pop back out again! They were so welcoming…not just showing me around their cozy beautiful home, but also inviting me to Allison’s birthday party that night! I only meant to stay for a little bit, but I stayed till it shut down I was just having so much fun with their friends and family!

Oh my my, I have so much to show you! There are a lot of shoots in production right now, and I’m feverishly working on catching up from the holidays. Expect a lot of fun shoots – engagements, portraits, babies, and my cute niece!

Today I’m excited to share Mari & Andrew…Mari was a bridesmaid in Tim & Michelle’s wedding in 2006. That’s right…that was the THIRD wedding I’d ever shot…wow! I wish I could go back in time to then and say to myself “don’t hold back, don’t be nervous, this photography thing is going to be the best thing EVER”…oh and “stop eating fast-food.” But I digress…

Mari & Andrew were fabulous! Fun, energetic, expressive…and completely laid back even though it rained through our session! Seriously, we got caught in a DOWN POUR just outside the Ferry Building…the likes of which I have never seen in Northern California. We spent a few moments huddled at the bus stop before it cleared enough to venture out. Mari proudly wore a ziplock bag on her head as we walked back to the car (yes…I have a photo…). Andrew was a complete riot the entire time! I love how much fun they have, with life and with each other. The wedding is going to be a blast, I can’t wait!

Ok, confession – I’m over 2 months behind on blogging! I’ve actually already photographed Shea & Cody’s wedding (and can’t wait to show those). Having spent their wedding day with them, I can’t help but look back at these engagement photos and say how absolutely wonderful, sweet, and amazingly fun they are! At the time, I just felt lucky to have clients who were gorgeous, stylish, and completely in love! I promise to catch up on blogging before the end of the year, so expect to see the wedding photos soon!

Last month I had a fun session with Cori & Alec! This session was extra special to me because Cori and I were roommates for a couple years and became good friends during that time! Readers of my early blog might even have seen some cute photos of her before. Cori and I even share the same birthday, so we used to throw ourselves a big birthday party or two each year. Of course, she was already dating Alec when I moved in, so I’ve also known him for several years, and they are adorable together!! I digress…

Anyway, when she asked me to shoot her wedding, I was ecstatic!! Here’s the engagement session, and I am really looking forward to the wedding in a couple weeks!

Melissa and Josh encountered me nearly two years ago at Kenn & Sarai’s wedding in Berkley!  They were guests and I took a photograph of them just because they were too cute not to.     When Melissa & Josh got engaged, they called me and told me about how they’d had that photo displayed in their home ever since, and as soon as they needed a photographer they called me!  I just think that’s a neat story.

They are such a cute couple, and I couldn’t have two sweeter clients. I’m not just saying that because they got me ice-cream either (oh my gosh, it was good ice-cream!!).   I’m looking forward to the wedding in August!
