I had the most wonderful time at Elizabeth & Nick’s wedding earlier this month! The Sequoia Retreat Center is an amazing location and   Elizabeth and Nick had the very first wedding at the beautiful new Redwood Ampitheater.   The wedding was full of genuine, amazing people – I was lucky enough to get to stay late just to hang out!   It was such a wonderful day.

Oh what a fun day this was!! As you may remember from the engagement photos, I’ve been friends with Bella & Todd for many years, and it was such a great pleasure to (finally!) attend their wedding!  Bella and Todd have such an amazing group of friends and family (many of which I already knew, of course) – and the whole day was just so joyful and fun.  I think the speeches and toasts were some of the funniest and most creative I’ve heard – and I’ve been to a LOT of weddings!  Bella & Todd you guys rock and your wedding was amazing and  I’m so delighted to have gotten to be your photographer!

Yet another blog post I can’t believe I waited so long to share!!  Erin is a fabulous floral designer that I have worked with before.  She since has moved to New York, but I was SO EXCITED when she contacted me to photograph her wedding at the The Presidio in San Francisco.

What a gorgeous couple with a gorgeous wedding!!!

Oh I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to share this with you!!   Allison and Mike’s wedding was GORGEOUS!  And at one of my very favorite venues: The Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley (http://www.theoutdoorartclub.org/).  The whole day was so relaxed, personal, beautiful, and full of laughter!  I pretty much remember all the toasts to the groom like it was yesterday – because each of them were HILARIOUS!

Trac & Lotte were wed last month in gorgeous Carmel! The ceremony was held at the oh-so-charming and historic Carmel Mission Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The grounds there were perfect for portraits. The reception was held at the Bernardus Lodge! The gardens on the grounds there were an amazing setting for cocktail hour, overlooking the vineyards in a beautiful rose garden!

Trac & Lotte have such an awesome sense of style! From his bowtie to her birdcage viel…..I just about swooned!! And of course, it was heaven to get to work with Natasha again! Natasha is the creative genius behind the floral and event designs from Waterlily Pond. She is just always such a delight to work with…and she really outdid herself on the arrangements and room design for this wedding!! (I saw the room before her team got there…I lost my breath the next time I stepped in and it was transformed.)

My first fabulous wedding of the year was with Mari & Andrew at the absolutely amazing Nestldown!! Mari and Andrew have such a warm and fun group of family and friends, and I had a great time!

I knew it wouldn’t take too long for the comedian in Andrew to come out…and I love how it makes Mari smile!

First we went to the Ketubah signing:

And then headed down to the redwood grove for a beautiful ceremony:

And then back up to the barn for a fun reception!!  Paul from Big Fun kept the party going until the last dance!

Of course I’ve posted several times about Cori & Alec…I shot their engagement and wedding this past year. Cori was a roommate for a couple years and was there when I was first getting started in the photography business! So she got to hear me rave and gush about different fun things you can do…and I was ever so delighted when she said she wanted to do a post wedding “trash the dress” session!

Of course it’s much harder to “trash” a dress than you might expect, and I think hers was just fine in the end, so instead I’m calling it a “rock the dress” session. I sooooooo wish all of my brides would do a bridal session after the wedding, this was an amazing amount of fun! We went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and just wandered around being girly and eating cotton candy!

The fabulously fashionable and artistically gifted Sheatiel and Cody got married at the beautiful Morcom Rose Garden in Oakland and celebrated with a reception at the Numi Tea Garden. First, I must declare my love for tea. I am making a kettle now. I love it sooo much. Ok, now that’s out of my system…back to the wedding!

Sheatiel wore a vintage wedding gown, beautiful feathered hair piece, and amazing ruffled heels! There ceremony was at the top of this gorgeous fountain in a rose garden The groomsmen and groom played guitar and sang as they entered. They wore ties screen printed by Cody with his own design! The reception featured gourmet vegan cupcakes surrounding a metal sculpture of the couple as robots!! Robots!! Oh, and did I mention both were Shea and Cody’s creations? So talented.

It was an amazing day, and I was so delighted to be part of it. But I know what you’re here for….so on to the photos!!

As I mentioned in their engagement session post Corinne was a roommate of mine for a couple of years and I am so lucky to call her a friend! I was tickled all shades of pink to get to be Cori & Alec’s photographer. It was such a relaxed, intimate, fun, and beautiful wedding!! I can’t imagine an event being more perfectly suited for them…they focused on surrounding themselves with the people who love them the most, and making sure everyone had a good time! It was way too much fun. Love you both, and I couldn’t be more happy for you!!

Kerry and David were wed at the gorgeous at the Chateau Julien Winery this summer. The ceremony was held right in the middle of the vineyard…overlooking the vines right as the grapes were ripe and beautiful! I had to try so hard not to giggle during the ceremony, as one of the little kids had wandered off a few feet and started eating the grapes from the vine!
